EDITORIAL REVIEWS:
Mommy Loves You Just the Same is a book for parents, and their children, who are anticipating a new baby. The story presents proactive ways to involve and prepare older siblings on the arrival of a new member in the family. The story reminds me of our own pregnancy experience with our youngest, Zoe and how we prepared our eldest, Nico, to being a big brother. They are siblings as well as good friends! – Zarah Gagatiga, Author, Teacher-Librarian, Storyteller, Board Member Representing Librarians of the Philippine Board on Books for Young People
Mommy Loves You Just the Same is a delightfully illustrated book teaching little ones kindness, helpfulness, and selfless love. Children will love the warm and colorful illustrations and parents will love the beautiful life lessons the book imparts. Sweet and charming, simple and yet so profound, it is a beautiful story of a mother’s unconditional love for all her children. A new favorite in our home! – Abby Sasscer, Author of Sofie’s Stuff and Simplifying Your Domestic Church
– Christine Bellen, Scholar of Children’s Literature, Creative Writer and the Award-Winning Author who retold the series of books on Mga Ni Lola Basyang
As a mom of three kids, I love how this book reassures the older kids that we love them just as much as before as well as helping to foster and nurture love for their new sibling. Children can be quite anxious about the arrival of a new baby and this book does well to put those insecurities to rest. A definite must-have for any family who is about to add a new member to the family. – Amada Griffin-Jacob, Author of Project Mom, Celebrity and Blogger
Teresa’s first children’s book is a truly heartwarming read. Told in simple but meaningful words, the story of a mother’s unconditional love for both her children is especially great for preparing kids to “welcome” their younger siblings. The illustrations help add to the “comforting” feeling one gets when reading the story — my favorite is the one of Mommy tandem nursing her kids. Congratulations, Teresa, and may God continue to use you to bless other families! – Tina Santiago-Rodriguez, Mom of 4, Media Missionary of TrulyRichandBlessed.com and editor-in-Chief of Mustard magazine ( Catholic magazine for kids)
Mommy Loves You Just the Same is a pleasure to read with its melodious text and clean illustrations. The story is sweet and relatable: it will be a great source of comfort for the new older brother or sister who might feel a bit threatened by the newest member of the family. – Mariel Uyquiengco, Mom of 3, Editor of and Speaker at The Learning Basket, U.S.-Certified Kindermusik Educator and a certified Positive Discipline Educator and Contributing Writer to various publications locally and abroad.
For mommies and daddies who need to help their first-borns ease into their new role of Ate or Kuya, this book (and coloring pages!) are a welcome addition to reading time, coloring time, and even bedtime… before AND after the new baby comes home. – Aileen Santos, Relationship Coach, A-ha! Trainer and Teen Fiction Author
As a mom of two, I could very much relate with Mommy Loves You Just the Same. Teresa has done a wonderful job of marrying the joys of motherhood with the challenges of parenting, resulting in a balanced storyline that partners and children can relate with easily. I also appreciate how the coloring pages can be incorporated into my children’s homeschooling, as a purposeful yet practical activity for them to enjoy. Thank you, dear friend, for being an instrument of God’s compassion to us parents. – Martine de Luna, Content Creation & Social Media Consultant, Make it Blissful / MJ De Luna Events
Teresa’s beautifully illustrated children’s book offers a simplified approach to a rather complicated emotional roller coaster ride for kids and parents when another baby comes. Indeed, the big-sister or big-brother-to-be needs to be assured every now and then that the love of their parents stays the same. Mommy Loves You Just the Same is a good formula to dissipate sibling rivalry so that older children could offer the same care for their new sibling. God bless this book and its author that it may touch its readers as they deepen their family bonds. – Jasmine Barrios, PTV Newswriter – Producer
Children are visual and love stories. Mommy Loves You Just the Same is a beautiful way to prepare your older child for the birth of a sibling especially for those who tandem breastfeed like myself. – Katrina Ambion, Mom of 2 and the Mompreneur behind Mommyfide PH

Raising a toddler while expecting at the same time is no easy job. What’s even tougher is to prepare your toddler to become an older sibling along the way as you also take care of the baby inside you.
This is the reason why I’ve been intentional in having this e-book.
The e-book “MOMMY LOVES YOU JUST THE SAME” is a book I found to be very useful as I go through this yet another journey of motherhood. The book specifically targets moms like me who wants to be intentional in preparing a toddler in becoming an older sibling. I found the e-book to be the exact tool to speak my heart out as I journey through this tough role of being a second-time-mom.
Baby Jed and I read this almost every night as my way of preparing him for his baby brother’s soon arrival. This is just also another way to remind him that Mommy and Daddy love him JUST THE SAME inspite his baby brother’s presence. It also assures him of our constant love which will never fade no matter who or what comes along.

I bought this book yesterday because it seemed like a perfect tool to help our daughter to become one with us in sharing the joys of my pregnancy. It turned out even better because not only is she excited about the baby’s arrival, she said she’s willing to help mommy like what the boy in the story does. This book helped me remind her visually how much I love her and how nothing can change that. It is also the first book we’ve read where tandem breastfeeding was shown. 🙂

This book reminds me of my Mother, she given us a lot of care and unconditional love. I simply love the storyline wherein you can explain to your 2nd child that even you have a new sister, Mommy still loves you just the same. No favoritism! I’ve already told this book to my sister whose planning to have a 2nd child, so, she could explain to my niece cassiel, the right way for a good parenting. Congratulations and more power!

This book described us. My toddler used to kiss, hug and sing to my growing tummy. I love how this book narrates changes in the family in a gentle manner. I also did tandem breastfeeding! 🙂 He’s so happy to see himself on the book. We also appreciate the lovely illustrations, and the best part for me is that it incorporate the father to this beautiful transition – pregnancy and motherhood.

A great book to read with my daughter! This can really help her with adjusting to her new baby cousin. Reading this book together helps our relationship to grow stronger and better. Though I am not yet expecting another child, my daughter now really loves reading this book and helps out a lot when her younger cousins come over and visit. This is great preparation for the future. Thank you for the great book!

This book described us! My toddler kissed my tummy when I was still pregnant and now that Dave is out, I do tandem breastfeeding. We read this book together, and he is so happy to see himself on this book. We also love the beautiful illustrations. What I like best about this book is the participation of the father in this wonderful transition.

The MommyLovesYouJustTheSame book is really a heartwarming story of a child having his baby brother soon. It illustrates how excited he is when the baby comes out. He made sure that his younger brother will be filled with love even if he’s still in the womb. I can relate though I’m not yet expecting my second, it is because my son loves reading books and I imagine him being the “big brother” in the book when the time comes that I will be expecting my second child. I already read the book for him and he loves listening about it. Hoping to have a hard copy of this soon because I’ll be glad that someday, he would the one reading it for his baby brother/sister in my womb and I will always tell him that “Mommy Loves You Just The Same”.

I enjoyed this book immensely and wish it had been around when I had my first child. This was an excellent book that completely nailed the experience of motherhood these days. One important thing to note is that this book is not only very informative but hilarious! I love each conversation with the Mother and child in the story. My 4 months baby didn’t yet understand what’s the story about but I think he really enjoys the illustrations in the story. All in all this book is wonderful to read that I recommend it highly and plan to give it as a gift to my friends that are expecting another baby as well as to new parents. I will surely keep it with me so that when my little one grows up and learn how to read, this books is the first thing I will make him to read. Congratulations Ms. Teresa! 🙂

My son loves to read a book so when I got this book, I feel so excited about it. As early as now, though I am not expecting a baby yet, I have to make him realize what an older brother is. This book is perfect for every mom who struggle to say words to their children or explain the new changes they will about to embrace. Kudos to the author and illustrator for making this book. I am recommending this for all mothers out there.

Aside from preparing the child when he/she will become the older sibling, it teaches the child to become selfless, caring, affectionate, and responsible. Moreover, the illustrations are appropriate and pleasant to the eyes.
I would love to have this in print and would definitely always read this to my kids.
Mona Liza Verdida –
A simple book that’s enjoyable to read with my kids. I read this book to them almost every night before they sleep because they somehow love to hear I love them just the same 🙂 It’s like reading a story, but also soothing / assuring them mommy loves them very much.
