I was already feeling sad and disappointed in the weeks leading to my birthday this year because I have not started writing my book yet. I was planning to release it on Amazon on the week before my birthday.

But life happened and I got REALLY busy as usual.

But after listening to and watching Brother Bo’s Full Tank message/video and meditating on the readings the day before my birthday, I felt inspired, encouraged and motivated to act on my dream and goal.

The Miracle

In an instant, God changed me, my thoughts, my feelings, and He enabled me to do the impossible!

I got to finish almost 4 chapters IN LESS THAN ONE DAY IN ONE SITTING by the grace of God!

If I did not plan to go to First Friday Mass and attend the Holy Hour that night, and if I have not scheduled to watch a movie with my family that same night, I could have finished the remaining chapter and probably the introduction and the conclusion all in one day.

But, that miracle/favor/achievement was enough for me already that day.

I’ve decided to just finish it some other time and enjoy my time with the Lord and with my family during my birthday weekend.

That miracle and achievement was enough to remind me that with God, nothing is impossible! And that I can do all things in Christ who is my wisdom and strength!

One of God’s messages to me that day also through one of my devotionals was this: “Keep going. God is with you.”

On the actual day of my birthday, I read this message on my devotional: “You were set apart for a purpose” and “I will turn your little into much.”

Then on April 16, through the same devotional, God spoke again to me and empowered me with His words.

Even though I was feeling distracted and I was busy supervising a cleaner who came to clean our house that afternoon, I got to finish the remaining chapter of my book and wrote the introduction and conclusion in one sitting again.

Just like the title of the devotional I was using, I got to move forward that day in working towards my goal.

Come Easter, I still got to publish a new book on Amazon!

On April 23, my latest e-book Keep Your Employees Engaged! : Low Cost and No Cost Ways was already available on Amazon! This is my 7th book to date.

I would not be able to do this if God did not inspire and help me.

I am so blessed, indeed, to have Him as my God!

He helps make my dreams come true! No matter how big they are.

Virtual Book Launch

After releasing the book on Amazon, I prayed to God again to guide me and help me decide when we’d launch the book.

I have a busy schedule and I felt that I need help in launching it.

I checked my devotional again and asked God to lead me to the best dates to launch it. I was initially torn between 2 weekends.

But I eventually chose the later launch date to give me more time to prepare for it.

God’s message for that day in my devotional affirmed me again of this God-sized dream.

After finalizing the date of the book launch, I prayed again if I will launch it on my own or if I will hire my previous assistant again to help me.

With much prayer and discernment, I got in touch with my previous virtual assistant who has been helping me in my book launches in the past years. It was a big blessing that she was available. I felt that it was a sign that God wanted me to hire her again for this book launch.

So, with much joy and excitement, I share with you that we are launching my latest book Keep Your Employees Engaged! Low Cost and No Cost Ways on May 29-30, 2019.

I’m excited to help many business owners and HR practitioners through this book. I know that many SMEs struggle in keeping their employees, lowering their attrition rate and staying within their budget.

With this book, companies do not only lower their attrition rate, but they can also:

– make their employees happy while working with them
– make their employees motivated and energized to do well in their job
– save on recruitment costs (Do you know that it’s more costly to recruit and hire new employees than to keep them?)

The strategies and ideas I shared in this book are things that I also experienced and implemented in the companies I have worked with either as an employee or as a consultant both for local and global companies.

Aside from these, I’m excited also to launch this book because I shared about the Wholistic Approach to Human Resource Management in this book. In this approach, I remind business owners and HR practitioners that their employees do not only have bodies and minds but also hearts and souls. Thus, they also need to nourish their employees in these aspects and considers these other needs.

I pray that through this book, I would be able to lead more people closer to God. By influencing the business owners and their HR people, I hope to bring more employees into a better relationship with God.
