“The rain is here!” my son would shout from our window as soon as he sees the dark clouds in the sky. Then, he would ask our maid to bring in the newly laundered clothes which are hanged in a […]
I love including fun activities in our homeschool. This school year, we started our homeschool again with another fun activity: a family field trip! We did the same thing last year when we went to Fort Santiago in Intramuros and […]
It was still dark when we got up from bed. It was quite a challenge to wake up our sons. But I’m glad we all persevered despite our sleepiness. The day turned out to be awesome! Let me tell you […]
I recently wrote about my older kids’ summer workshops or classes. (You may read it in my previous blog post.) Yesterday, my entire family of five woke up early and traveled all the way to Mandaluyong to bring my eldest […]
I bumped into one of my mentors one night in a coffee shop. He asked about my family and me. I happily shared some updates, including my eldest son’s latest adventures on the piano. He and his sons were amazed […]
My two older boys just had their recital yesterday at St. Cecilia Hall, St. Scholastica College in Manila. It was the climax of their two-month-long summer classes. My eldest son had summer piano lessons. My second son was part of […]
Our family was celebrating Mass at The Feast (the Light of Jesus community’s weekly prayer meeting) a few Sundays ago. Our active 3-year-old was walking (sometimes running) and bouncing (a lot of times) along the aisles. Seated near us is another family […]
We’ve been frequenting the hospital in the past days because our youngest son has been sick with fever since Friday night. We first brought him to the pediatrician for check up on Saturday. We were told by the doctor that […]
Once a upon a time, I dreamed of having my own business. I dreamed that it was about something I love doing. Then, one day, that dream came true… Not instantaneously, but over time. Let me share a bit of my entrepreneur […]
Do you personally prepare and cook your own food or your family’s food? I used to prepare and cook our family’s food when my husband and I were newly married and when we still had one child. I enjoyed cooking […]

hi good day!
I just wanna ask po if you can recommend a homeschool provider po for my 9yrs old daughter, she was diagnosed with dyslexia last year.(she was late diagnosed po because we thought po shes “bata pa” or shes slow learner lng plus never heard of the word Dyslexia)
She was in a traditional school eversince and with her case I dont think that traditional way of teaching will help her case. esp this time of pandemic po na online learning yung best for the students. I read one of your blog and uve mentioned po that you have a dyslexic child.
she was having her intervention for 6mos at Instant Reader Bacoor. But due to this pandemic i think it will be impossible po na ituloy ang intervention since its face to face session.
The reason bakit po napili nmin s instant reader sya ipaintervention its bcoz wla po kmi choice dahil un lng po pinakamalapit sa place nmin (but malayo prin) bcoz we are from Tanza Cavite .
now IR Bacoor recommend po na if homeschool ang bata partner po sila ng TPL Los Banos.
now ask ko lng po since mas malawak npo ang kaalamanan nyo po s homeschooling po esp with a dyslexic child with TLP curriculum and set up po im asking for your advice po.Or my marecommnd po kayong other Homeschool provider po na kayang icater ang needs nya po And I hope marami ako pong mapulot na ideas at aral sainyo paano maghandle ng dyslexic po. Im watching you tube videos nmn po and reading article but i think po best way prin ung may makausap na same ng pingdadaanan po. Im really asking for your help po with my child. Shes my only child at gsto ko kht my case syang gnyan she can still live a normal life lalo na pag wala na po kmi.sorry for long email po mam.
maraming Salamat po.
Stay safe po
God bless us all pomommy donna

Hi, Mommy Donna. TLP Los Banos is a good homeschool provider and they had been offering homeschooling as a program for decades already. The School Directress is an expert in dyslexia so I highly recommend that you partner with them.
