2. What are the signs of giftedness or twice exceptionality, especially in young children?
3. What are the advantages of finding out if your child is gifted or not?
4. What are the advantages of hands-on parenting to the gifted or twice exceptional child?
5. What should you do when you see signs of giftedness in your child?
6. What are the advantages of homeschooling gifted or twice exceptional kids?
7. How do you homeschool a gifted child?

Aside from learning more about giftedness and twice exceptionality, parents will also have the opportunity to meet other parents of gifted and twice exceptional children and thus find a support group who will understand the same challenges and joys that they experience.

SPEAKER: Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag

Teresa is the Regional Contact in the Philippines for the Gifted Homeschoolers Forum (GHF), a group that supports gifted and 2e families and the professionals who work with them in the United States and around the world, through education, advocacy, community, and outreach. Teresa is also a mom of two gifted children, both of whom she has been homeschooling since they were toddlers. Her eldest son is a music prodigy and has been serving as the pianist in their parish’ daily Masses. Both of her two older children started reading at 2 years old.

Teresa is also an author of several books including the #1 Amazon Bestseller BREASTFEEDING: A Journey Worth Taking and the recently-launched children’s book Mommy Loves You Just the Same. She’s also an inspirational and motivational speaker, a consultant for management, human resources and training Solutions, a career coach and counselor, a blogger and freelance writer and editor.
