I’m in a period at the moment where I’m still seeking into myself where I will end up. And I just take opportunities when they come around. At the moment my job is not awesome, but it’s better than my previous one. I commute 30min by feet and it’s actually not bad. I like getting through the city and the easy part of simply walked. (Even if sometimes I’m late and I have to run a bit Haha). Daydream? I was doing that all the time, and I still do. Once in class I’ve just yelled “Oh, we see the moon!” as I was watching it in the sky during the day. Teacher simply said, a bit pissed “Yeah, you are definitely on it!” Haha
Just yesterday i was in Manila at ortigas area and coming from the South, the moment i exit from skyway, the traffic started to build up up until i reach ortigas ave. i said to myself, i thank God i work from home and had a home based business and i have people who can do the work for me. We also have traffic in our place and it makes me cry whenever i need to go out.but yesterday the traffic in manila made me cry out loud! I pity those people who travel everyday.. the battle is really stressful! Maybe its time, jobs are takem virtually and yes this seminar is very beneficial for everyone.. having time freedom and flexibility is life changing 🙂
I love daydreaming too and usually I daydream about travelling world, visiting my bucketlist places and doing bucketlist adventures. Good on you for taking a step towards making your daydreams come true. I am slow fulfilling mine too 🙂
I don’t like commuting to work. It takes a lot of time. And I always try to think of times that will save time. But often it’s just so busy on the road! I love working from home. It feels like such a timesaver. It would be great to always be working from home. For timely matters. However I also enjoy having colleagues!
That seems a pretty helpful mastermind session for those who left the rat race early. I used to have a 4-hour commute too earlier this year. Now, I’m so happy because like you I go to work in less than a minute. I am my own boss and I get to go anywhere, anytime I wanted. Just catching up on our back logs and will be traveling again next year.
I think the time spent with the family is the most precious time. I am glad that you discontinued your suffering of traveling. I myself travel 3 hours a day and that time is a waste nothing more. Good luck 🙂
Dreams are just dreams and nothing more than wishful thinking unless action is taken. But how can one take action without first planning? And without plans, then how could goals be set? So… readers. This is where Teresa comes in. Hey, I am happy for you, Teresa 🙂
Being myself as my own boss is what I am also dreaming of. Lately, I have noticed that my patience is no longer that strong when it comes to today’s kids’ generations. I feel that I am getting tired teaching those kids who do not care at all when it comes to their learning. I have been also looking for ways on how can I earn money through the comforts of my own home. Just like you, I love to travel too and being an online freelancer will give me an opportunity to fulfill my dream of globetrotting. 🙂
Oh this blog post is really inspiring. I, myself, am an owner of a small homebased business as well. I decided to look for things/tasks to keep me busy after I quit my corporate job. Like you, I love working from home as well and there is no better feeling that seeing your baby’s milestones, caring for them day to day and still be happy with your life choices. And yes, I am so glad that I don’t have to suffer on long commutes to work anymore.
I am a WAHM, too. But I also daydream of earning more, because who wouldn’t right? 😀 It takes a lot of courage to leave a corporate job in exchange of working-at-home opportunities especially when there no guarantees yet. But I do understand you a lot. Sobrang nakakapagod ang byahe, especially nowadays! When I read that you work in Sucat and your home is in Rizal, I was so shocked! I am from Paranaque and I used to work in Makati. I got tired of the long hours of commute. And now I’m a work-at-home-mom, and I love this WAHM life so much just like you do. 🙂
i daydream, a lot too! but sadly, it’s usually during bedtime (when i’m not bogged down by daily tasks to complete) which is why i’m like, suffering from insomnia. hahaha! i can hardly control where my mind takes me as i keep telling myself, “go to sleep!”
but then again, it’s kind of fun though. i usually daydream about travelling to awesome places and having great fun with people i love. it’s good to be able to work from home for the convenience, but it takes a lot of discipline to not let either (work or home) cross the lines, too.
Establishing boundaries is very important. That helps WAHMies like me sane. 🙂
I also work from home 🙂 There are ups and downs, but what keeps me going is the fact that I could spend more time with my kids more than the financial reward 🙂
That is so true! I can relate with you. 🙂 My kids make it all worth it.
Hi Teresa! I am so thrilled to have read how you got out of the rat race. Like you, I also travel for more than 4 hours, sometimes even more than 5 hours, to and from the office. I live in Taytay, Rizal and work in Makati. I have decided to end my suffering and to stop wasting 5 precious hours every single day and tried applying to a few online jobs. I am a fan of Bo Sanchez too! So you can just imagine how much I can relate to your story.
Are there still available seats on your Mastermind Session?
Hi, Katrina! That is really a long commute from Taytay to Makati. Yes, we still have seats for it. 🙂 Hope you can join us.
thank you for posting the link on the other comment. i also got interested about this as well. we moms really have to prioritize everything and leave some things behind for the good of our family. i’m happy that you have a job that would allow you to earn and be with the kids at the same time. 🙂
Wow, congrats and praise God on this latest venture, sis! 🙂 God bless your Mastermind Session and all your plans! 🙂
I recently gave up my day job to take care of my daughter, and I am still adjusting to the arrangement. I have a few sidejobs and I really feel that not having the commute has a big impact in saving some money.
I agree with you, Anna, that not having that long commute saves a lot of money. It also saves us a lot of energy that we can use to produce quality output at work.
Hi. I am interested to attend and learn from you. I might be clinking the wrong link, though.
Thank you.
Thanks for reading my post. You should be brought to this page with the details on how you can avail of a FREE Mastermind. https://www.handsonparentwhileearning.com/ihope-coaching-program/
