My family and I went to the Gingerbread House in Tagaytay exactly 3 years ago yesterday. I just didn’t have the time to blog about it right away. Good thing, we now have Facebook memory and I was reminded of this yesterday.
I wanted to write this blog post yesterday but my husband and kids wanted to play charades and Pinoy Genio after dinner so I postponed my task to this morning.
We were checked in at Villa Marinelli in Tagaytay 3 years ago for our annual family Christmas vacation. After we checked out, we went straight to the Gingerbread House, which I learned was also in Tagaytay.
The entrance fee was relatively cheap at P50 per person. The kids liked the place so much. There were a lot of places where we got to take photos. There was a playground. There were play areas within the building.
They also had a bakeshop or bakery. We tried some of their gingerbread cookies and pastries for our snacks that afternoon.
After eating, the kids explored the place. They already enjoyed the kiddie rides outside.
They spent the whole afternoon playing and having their photos taken.
We also had our family photo taken by one of their photographers and it was our souvenir for our field trip.
I recommend this place to families who live in or near Tagaytay or to those who are in the area for a vacation or outing like us. The kids will surely love the place. It’s a nice place to visit during the Christmas season.
But I would advise that you bring with you lots of water because you and your kids will definitely get thirsty exploring the place. You’ll save money by bringing your own water. The place sells a lot of sweets that will tempt both young and old to indulge. 😉
If you have not been to the place yet, plan your visit soon. Christmas is until January anyway so you still have time to plan that field trip.
