Yes, some goals need prioritizTion. This year, I started again to blog to document my life. My goal is not really to have a big following back then but now I realized how much I love writing and that for people to actually read is something special for me. And so this year, I’m prioritizing my blog again. Hehe.
-
That’s good. Blogging is like a therapy for me, too. It helps me review my experiences and cull lessons from them. 🙂 Plus, it’s nice to come back to the most and read them again. 🙂

Yup, one should work hard for their dreams while dreaming! Some people keep on dreaming and they instil it on their mind that it will always just be a dream without taking chances for their dreams. Without even bothering to work hard for it. That’s what most lack, the drive to work hard for their dream and make it come true.
-
As the old saying goes, “Work as if all depended on self. Pray as if all depended on God!”
-
-
I always write my goals and dreams in my planner, but sometimes I forget to check if I fulfill my dreams. I love the idea in writing dreams in novena or prayer book. I agree with you we also need to work hard for our dreams and pray to God and believe in Him that he will grant our wishes.
-
It’s powerful to write them down and pray for them daily! Try it! 🙂 I keep on writing new dreams because many of my dreams come true each year. 🙂
-
-
Dream big and work hard rather Dream Big, work hard and let God do the rest. For the coming new year making goals is great but don’t get disappointed when they don’t happen, there’s always a better plan from God 🙂
-
Sometimes, His plans are way better than what we are praying for. 🙂

What an inspiring read. Definitely made me sit down and evaluate my life in general. Also thinking about writing my dreams down. We sometimes get caught up in the whirlwind of life that we forget what truly matters and everything gets mixed up. I’ not much for making new years’ resolutions and the likr, but this sounds like a really healthy and helpful yearly activity.
-
It’s really easy to get caught up with many activities and lose sight of what is important for us. It helps to pause at least every quarter to see if we are living our lives the way we want to. 🙂

I love the emphasis on’re’. I used to write same dreams and goals every year. I love seeing them in a notebook or wherever so I will keep motivated. But to see the priorities is essential so you will not stuck on the same list. You need to make them happen. Time, effort, faith are some of the weapons you will need! 😉
-
I agree with all the points in the list. Indeed, there is a perfect time for everything. Only God knows when it will be. We just need to trust him and hang on. Not because some of the things we dream are put on hold doesn’t mean we stop dreaming. Let’s all continue to dream. ❤️
-
Yes, we need to trust that what is best for us will eventually unfold in God’s perfect time. That’s where our faith would come in. 🙂

Such an inspiring read. I am just amazed how you keep those lists of dreams. If you come to think of it, we knew and wanted specific dreams deep within our hearts. But writing it down, parang iba ung dating nya 🙂 There are goals/dreams that I write but I am not able to keep it neatly intact like you do. I am just really inspired now – thank you for this! Will start keeping my personal list soon!
-
Writing them down makes us remember them more. When it is written, we can review it again and again.
-
-
I also hold on to the saying that dreams do come true. But they do not happen instantly. There is always a perfect timing for each and we only need to trust the Lord for it to happen.
I would love to have that kind of dream booklet as well. I seldom “track” my wishes. I feel that that booklet would help me be more thankful and appreciative of our blessings as they are written down to constanyly remind me.
-
Yes, dreams don’t necessarily happen instantly. Most dreams take a while before they come true even if they are for our good. I think God wants us to be prepared to receive them. 🙂

“God, all over the Bible, you have promised blessings and richness.” I asked. “Perhaps it’s time to turn my dream into reality. Let me win the lottery and I will put the millions to good use.”
Perhaps I was being greedy. All the good use I thought of were for me, and the people I love and care for. “God, I promise you that I will use much of the money to help people, especially those in need. Would you let me win the lottery?” I asked again.
Time passes by. Still, there was no answer. So I asked, “God, have you decided that I do not deserve your blessing and the promised richness? Am I missing something?”
And I heard a voice. “Son, I want you to have everything you wanted. I really do. And I would have given it to you if you had placed bets on the lottery.” God said.

Dreams are good, but only if we work for it, so yes, Teresa. I agree with you. And yes, dreams can change. Priorities change and so does dreams.

Ooooh I do have a list of dreams, but not necessarily written down. I have a mental list, which is a list as well of resolutions for this year: Travel with the family. Maintain work-life balance at the workplace. Pursue wellness. Develop my path to life coaching. Broadstrokes, but I know I’ll get there! 🙂 Let’s both keep dreaming and acting on our dreams!
-
Hi, Toni! If God wills it and my busy schedule permits, I want to work towards getting certified as a life coach too! Been dreaming about this in the past years but I had my third pregnancy so that dream and goal had to take a backseat in the meantime.
