I totally agree with this.. Doing business is not easy.. If you don’t have PASSION.. you will never go anywhere.. passion makes us continue to work our goals out.. it’s really the most important thing for every entrepreneur..
Yes, without it, we would never have the perseverance to go beyond our challenges.
Right mindset is Rightly the Right ingredient. I can’t say no to this very thought in your post. Thanks for this encouraging business tip !
I started a venture too last year, but things didn’t work out in the partnership, so I moved out. After, reading your post, I am itching again to do something similar.
Go, Prena! 🙂 Sometimes, it’s better to do a business without a partner first.
I actually do want to own a business someday. I already have an idea about what type of business I want to get into. There are just so many things to consider and prepare first. Your story is really inspiring though. 🙂 Hope I can write books too someday.
Thanks, Janice. I’m sure you can have that business and book too someday. It’s just a matter of time. 🙂
I couldn’t agree more! Passion, passion is important because it is what will fuel you and propel you to grow your business. What may start as a passion project can grow into something greater. Good job on this.
Thanks, Karla! That’s what happened with my writing. It started as a hobby. It became an income stream eventually. 🙂
Bravo. Well done. I would love to have that under my name; two books and being an entrepreneur. I am happy where I am now too. Great that you share this and inspire others!

“Your business should be based on your passion.” YES – If you do something you love you won’t have to work a single day. Congratulations on your book, I’m about to publish my own!
this is really interesting! i have always wanted to start my own business but there are factors that are stopping me from doing so…
First is the capital and second is the lack of courage! I was just too pessimistic to start my own business because I am afraid that it could fail but I know the fact that It is not really the kind of mindset I should have!
There is always a risk in business and you just have to be brave enough to embrace it!
thanks for such inspiring post!
You’re welcome! You are correct in saying that there is always a risk in starting your own business. Same is true with life. 🙂 The greater the risks, the greater the potential gains. Yes, just be brave enough to do it. 🙂
great article that gives me hope for being successful in bloggin and business. It is indeed difficult while having children and definitely means finding creative ways of acheiving your goals. Congratulations on what you have acheived.
Thank you, Heidi! Yes, it takes a lot of creativity to find ways and time to spend on your business while caring for your children esp. when they are still very young. But it’s possible.
Congratulations on your success! Opening and then running your own business is not an easy thing to do, especially if you are a woman. It’s great that you followed your passion and managed to fulfill your dream of being an entrepreneur!
Thanks, Joanna. Yes, it’s not easy but it’s worth all the hard work. 🙂
Awesome!! Great to hear ur story…passion is the leading force to achieve anything in ..life
Hi Ms. Teresa! You have always inspired me to follow my heart in things that I do and that is why I love the iHope program. I believe that it may not be necessarily about being a parent but also having the time for other things and people that are important to us.
Just started my party rentals here in Bacolod which started because I love beautiful home-made parties. I realized that if you love what you are doing then it won’t feel like “WORK” anymore because you enjoy it.
Excited to work with you again in the next few weeks. Glad to be part of your team to inspire people to follow their passion.
I’m happy for you, Clarice! 🙂 Thanks for sharing that with me. I love hearing stories of people following their hearts and succeeding in pursuing their passions.
Yes, that’s true. The iHOPE coaching Program can actually be used by people who may not have children yet but would like to carve out time for the other important things they want to do in life.
What a great share. You turned your passion into something entrepreneurial and that is great! I write a lot of things on being an entrepreneur, focusing on the attitude rather than the skills.
I believe anyone with the right mindset will acquire the skills on their own.
I sure would love to connect with you and learn from you!
Thanks, Robert! I agree with you on having the right mindset. Even difficulties can be used as stepping stones to move closer to our goals if we have the right mindset. 🙂
